A record of my attempt to do a project 52: one (reasonably good) photo every week for a whole year

Week two: St Paul's Cathedral - not from a postcard
I work not even 10 minutes walk from St Paul's. So you'd think I have several photos of this monument, and you'd be right, but all of them ended up looking like I was trying to copy a postcard. So when I was in the area again, looking for something to shoot for the week, I took photos of everything except the cathedral. It was only by chance when I was walking through a new shopping centre on my way back to the office that I looked up and there it was - a view of St Paul's that wasn't a postcard copy. Life's funny that sometimes.

Tim, thanks for stopping by. This photo was taken with a panasonic lumix dmc-lx3, so I don't have interchangeable lenses. But for what its worth its a LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMICRON. I'd love to upgrade to a DSLR sometime soon, if I can ever make up my mind as to what exactly I want.
